Upon returning from my Italian adventure I realized a few things: I fully adore not living at home. I can party hard, but for how long I don't know. I must take advantage of my current state. I constantly pretend to be older then I am, but i'm really just a baby, freshly sprung from it's mothers uterus. Scarfs are what everyone wears. Italians dress well. Even if they are prepubescent, they are good looking (not in a creepy way, it's just a fact).

Holy Shit!

I can barley breath at this Moment. Pay close attention as this is the most important blog post of my life.

TOKYO POLICE CLUB IS PLAYING THE COACHELLA FESTIVAL ON APRIL 27. Yes that is the same day as Bjork, The Arctic Monkeys and Gogol Bordello.

I NEED TO GO. THIS CALLS FOR A MAJOR ROADTRIP TO CALIFORNIA. Please, Please all my wonderful friends, if you have any good bone in your body you will come with me. Tickets go on sale Jan 27.

Things I have learned in Italy so far:

Italians really do eat a lot of pasta.
The Lebanese can party like nobodys buisness
There is no such language as lebanese. They speak arabic.
Racing 15 km is very hard and I don't recommened to anyone but Uschi Disl
Girls from the Czech Republic are beasts.
I am fully addicted to the Internet.
Old buildings are gorgeous.
World War two would have been very scary.
Trumpets, Bongo drums and Techno go very well together.

Soon to be boarding at Gate 45....

Me! I'm leaving for Italy in half an hour. Well, the airport and the Frankfurt, then Italy. That is the itinerary for the beginning of my 2 week adventure to Turin, Italy for the World University Games. Kickin! I currently don't know where my carry on bag is so I must go find that.

If I had more time I'd set up a link/download for that lovely song but I hear an Italian Stallion calling my name so I must go.

Did you know...

Eating two packages of instant oatmeal at the same time is far more filling then eating two separate packages one after the other.

Dino eggs are far better then any other kind of instant oatmeal.

I am leaving for Italy in 2 days.

I am currently listening to "Happy Valentines Day" by Tokyo Police Club. You probably are not. This is beacause it is a old demo which has never been released. How did I get it you ask? By sharing of course! That is why I love Last.fm. If you see a track that people are listening to that you do not have, but want because are obessed with a band and must have every rarity out there, you can simply message them, strike up a correspondence and end up having that rare track in your posession! While I'm all for buying music of bands you support, sharing music like this is one of my favorite things about the interent because if it were not for the interent, I would not be able to listen to many of the demos or bootlegs that I do.

Fact: I could never have a music blog.

Why? Because I a) Don't have enough time to find, download, listen to, review and post about cool enough new muzak that everyone would want to know about and b) Am very bad at describing music. General musical descriptions by your's truly -

That said, this blog will official be a music plog. A normal blog in which I frequently plug music I am mad about. Mad as in crazy, not as in angry.

A Movie Review when I should be going to the bathroom.

I saw The Last Kiss and I really liked it. Screw all of you who said it was no good! It wasn't as quirky as Garden State but hey, ladies and gentlemen, Zach Braff directed Garden State and not The Last Kiss so of course Garden State is going to be cooler and quirkier and have more visually tantalizing shots. The Last Kiss was really good and it wasn't just about cheating, as a lot of people told me. It was about life and commitment and fear and love and how important they all are. It also has a great sound track. Especially "Warning Signs" by Coldplay. That part was perfect.

I'm busy, of course.

Sometimes I really have to pee but I'm in the middle of doing something, like crusin the myspace, so I hold it. Then once it gets unbearable I run as fast as I can to the bathroom. Often times I cut it very close. This is one of those times.
